Apple Pie

What makes this apple pie special is the amount of apples stuffed in - 3 lbs - and we managed it because the apples are cooked down before they are added. The aim is intense apple flavor. The secret to the extra flaky pie crust lies in the extra butter added (we don't use shortening).  Note the design of the apple pie may vary from that in the picture. 

Ingredients: apples, organic flour, butter, sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, salt
