Cranberry Linzertorte (Available December 19 & 23)
An Austrian dessert with walnuts added into a crust spiced with cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves. Instead of store-bought jam, we're making our own so the cranberries are sweetened just enough to balance the tartness of the fruit. (Flavor improves as it keeps. Good at room temperature for up to 4 days after which refrigeration is recommended.)
Ingredients: Unbleached flour, butter, walnuts, sugar, fresh cranberries, egg, lemon, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves
